These terms and conditions govern the Tripeasel Traveler Refund Policy (the “Traveler Refund Policy”) available to Travelers who book and pay services related to travel Providers through the Tripeasel platform (the “Site”) and suffer a Travel Issue and the obligations of the Providers associated with the Traveler Refund Policy. Some Providers (“Travel agents”) provide bookings on the ground, and other Providers (“Travel bloggers/Travel Experts”) help with travel planning.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION FOR YOUR TRIP PLANNED BY Tripeasel Travel Experts
Once a Travel Expert is confirmed by a Traveler, any fees paid can be refundable as set forth below:
Traveler cancels - Orders may be cancelled by the traveler anytime until the Travel Expert has accepted the assignment for a full refund. We cannot accept any cancellations after 30 days has lapsed from the start date of the assignment accepted by the Travel Expert. After the Travel Expert accepts the assignment, any cancellation request will be reviewed to assess how much time and effort was put forth by the Travel expert and what the causes for cancellation were. Based on that we will refund up to 80% of the amount paid by you. However, if you are not happy with the service offered, we will transfer the entire amount back to you subject to any fees that your bank might charge you.
Travel Expert cancels - Whenever possible Tripeasel will connect Traveler to an alternate Travel Expert who can fulfill request. If not, Tripeasel will refund the Total Fees for such trip to the applicable Traveler within a commercially reasonable time of the cancellation.
Note: All our transactions are processed in Indian Rupees. For transactions from outside India the actual amount that gets refunded to you may be more or less than the amount you paid depending on changes in the currency exchange rates. Your issuing bank may also levy charges for currency conversion.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATION FOR YOUR Bookings LED BY Tripeasel Travel Agent
We understand your travel plans may change. With that in mind, Tripeasel has a very simple cancellation policy: regardless of whether you made your reservation online, using our mobile applications, or via our travel consultation, we have a standard cancellation policy as below.
The cancellation policy of Flights is determined by the Airline that you have booked with and our cancellation policy will mirror the same. We will offer FULL REFUND offered by the flight operators for cancellations before 30 days. For cancellation between 30-15 Days we will charge a cancellation fee of Rs.500 per ticket. For any cancellations before to 15 days of the trip we will charge Rs.1000 per ticket as a cancellation cost.
Hotel cancellations are basis the type of booking made during reservation. Tripeasel will inform the traveller prior to booking (via email) the nature of the booking. Any cancellation post booking will be basis the cancellation policy provided in the voucher. For cancellation between 30-15 Days we will charge a cancellation fee of Rs.1000 per booking. For any cancellations before to 15 days of the trip we will charge Rs.1500 per booking as a cancellation fee.
Activities, Experiences and Tours
Activity, Experience and Tour cancellations are basis the type of booking made during reservation. Tripeasel will inform the traveller prior to booking (via email) the nature of the booking. Any cancellation post booking will be basis the cancellation policy provided in the voucher. There is a standard 250 Rupees per person cancellation fee that we charge for cancellation for all activities, experiences and tours.
Transfers and Trains
Transfer and Train cancellations are basis the type of booking made during reservation. Tripeasel will inform the traveller prior to booking (via email) the nature of the booking. Any cancellation post booking will be basis the cancellation policy provided in the voucher. There are no additional cancellation fees that Tripeasel levies for cancellation. There is a standard 250 Rupees per person cancellation fee that we charge for cancellation for all activities, experiences and tours.
a) No Assignment/No Insurance. This Traveler Refund Policy is not intended to constitute an offer to insure, does not constitute insurance or an insurance contract, does not take the place of insurance obtained or obtainable by the Traveler, and the Traveler has not paid any premium in respect of the Traveler Refund Policy. The benefits provided under this Traveler Refund Policy are not assignable or transferable by you.
b) Modification or Termination. Tripeasel reserves the right to modify or terminate this Traveler Refund Policy, at any time, in its sole discretion, and without prior notice.
c) If Tripeasel modifies this Traveler Refund Policy, we will post the modification on the Site or provide you with notice of the modification and Tripeasel will continue to process all claims for Travel Issues made prior to the effective date of the modification.
d) Entire Agreement and Definitions. This Traveler Refund Policy constitutes the entire and exclusive understanding and agreement between Tripeasel and you regarding the Traveler Refund Policy and supersedes and replaces any and all prior oral or written understandings or agreements between Tripeasel and you regarding the Traveler Refund Policy. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the Tripeasel Terms of Service. Controlling Law. This Traveler Refund Policy will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
e) Limitation of Liability. IN NO EVENT WILL TRIPEASEL’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS TRIPEASEL POLICY TERMS, EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE FEES COLLECTED BY TRIPEASEL FROM THE TRAVELER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
